The University Hospital Tuebingen in Germany was founded in 1805 combining high standard medical treatment, excellent research and teaching. The Moyamoya Center at the Children's Hospital Zurich works closely with the department of Neurosurgery at the University Hospital where more and more adult Moyamoya patients are being consulted and treated. Collaborative research in the field of genetics of Moyamoya disease has been carried out for several years between the two centers. Professor Nadia Khan also manages the Moyamoya, Angiopathy and By-Pass Surgery Centre at the University Clinic of Tübingen, where she treats adults suffering from Moyamoya.
